It was made to commemorate the years that Nellie Fox played for the White Sox (1949 - 1963). The White Sox “Sock” Official Sleeve patch measures approximately 3” square. Both patches are official sleeve patches that are like the ones that were worn on the official White Sox jerseys in the 1990’s. They have never been worn or sewn onto anything.
